Tekoa, Inc. is a private non-profit organization specializing in Adolescent Residential Treatment and Special Education for youth ages 12-17. This Educational Aide position will be working in a boy’s school facility. Qualified applicants must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Applicants should also be able to implement curriculum using a team-based approach. Associates Degree and Special Education experience preferred.

Therapist
We are seeking a therapist for our male facility in Christiansburg. Duties include the provision of individual, group and family therapy. Responsibilities include collaborative treatment planning, case management, behavior management and crisis intervention. Some evening hours and participation in on-call rotation is required. Individual and group clinical supervision provided. Candidate must be licensed and understand VA Medicaid requirements.

Full-Time Youth Counselor position with the boy’s facility. Hours include evenings, nights and weekends. Qualified applicants must possess strong leadership and communication skills, an excellent work ethic and a commitment to working as a member of a larger treatment team. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to plan and implement recreation and leisure activities, crisis intervention, and facilitation of day-to-day living tasks with clients. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Youth Counselor (Part time position)

Part-Time Youth Counselor position with the boy's facility. Hours will include periodically substituting for full-time staff on evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary. Qualified applicants must possess strong leadership and communication skills, an excellent work ethic and a commitment to working as a member of a larger treatment team. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to plan and implement recreation and leisure activities, crisis intervention, and facilitation of day-to-day living tasks with clients. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
